Good pictures Andy. Keep them coming, please. Andy Aide Pendleton, Mary Hartford Gwinn, Shelby Carr Bryant, Susie Weber Minturn and Lorena Ochoa (No Picture) Lorena Ochoa had other obligations and couldn’t make this outing, so I heard via the grape vine.

Andy: You have been strangely quiet for the past few days.
Beyond that I’ll close with: “But I want you to know Wherever I go I tip my hat to.........ONE”.

Hello everyone, many of you knew my brother, Denny Tincher from his Rainelle radio days, etc., and school, etc. His daughter, Angela, is quite a pitcher for Va. Tech's softball team. Those who know Denny might enjoy some photos I took of our families this weekend, Angela pitching against NC State University, plus I'm in a couple http://www.photoworks.com/share/shareLanding.jsp?shareCode=A3A84B1C086&cb=PW The photos are more clear if you click on "Larger".

Dale, I certainly do remember Denny and Susan from their radio days in Rainelle...more good memories! They were terrific to work with and terrific people as well! Our radio station has never been the same since they left! Please say Hi to them for me and thanks for posting the pictures.

Dale, ditto to Patty's comment about Susan and Denny. The exact words I have spoken to you before about Denny and the radio station never being the same...We had lost a very important asset to our community when they left....A wonderful family...very community minded..
Yes Chris, you come to our reunion and our golf game will be on...you know we have a fun tournament planned for the reunion.... My driving ability is in relationship to driving Miss Daisy...Not very far....

Hello everyone. Evelyn Utterback Drake, Class of 56, sent an intersting link from the Sunday Gazette Mail / WVGazette online version, dated 4-2-06 http://www.wvgazette.com/section//2006040121 ‘It’s been a long time’; Power plant has revival hopes coursing through Rainelle
The first four paragraphs read as follows: RAINELLE — For five years, the people of western Greenbrier County have been hearing that a power plant was coming, bringing jobs to Rainelle.
Some say they didn’t quite believe it — a $215 million project that the U.S. Department of Energy declared would “create on the order of 6,000 direct, indirect and induced new jobs.” That would be more than enough to make Rainelle the thriving town it used to be, before its lumber mill, once the biggest in the world, shut down in 1970.
Now government agencies have committed to a big chunk of the total funding: more than $110 million. State environmental authorities three weeks ago made a preliminary decision to allow the plant. Two families whose houses are nearest the site are being bought out, and spokesmen for Western Greenbrier Co-generation LLC say they should break ground in summer, with the plant pumping out electricity by early 2009.
But the 6,000 jobs won’t immediately materialize. The power plant itself would employ about 40 people, with another 60 or so contract workers, according to WGC. Further jobs would depend upon spinoffs.

Thank you, Nancy!
I've been out of town on business since Wednesday. I started to say, "it's good to be back", but sunny, breezy Miami isn't terrible duty this time of year. It is good to be back, though. Dale
