Beryl Aaron Boggs
CHESTER, Va. — Beryl Aaron
Boggs, 85, formerly of Rainelle, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at Chester.
Born April 8, 1922, at Alvon, he was the son of the late John and Bessie
Boggs.
Mr. Boggs graduated from Rainelle High School, had worked for Meadow River
Lumber Co. and also worked for C&O Railroad of Rainelle. He was a veteran of
World War II, having served with the Merchant Marines.
Survivors include his wife, Helen S. Boggs, whom he married on July 20,
1946; two children, Joseph Aaron Boggs and Joanna Boggs Stack; five
grandchildren, Michael Reibsamen, Steve Reibsamen, Aaron Boggs Johnson,
Emily Boggs and Alex Boggs; five great-grandchildren, Abigail, Matthew,
Margaret, Samantha and Amelia; two brothers, John V. Boggs Jr. and wife,
Lois, and Bernard Clifton Boggs and wife, Hilda; and three sisters,
Christine Boggs Trout and husband, Venable, Allyne Boggs Chinault and
husband, Haven, and Hazel Boggs Crane.
Memorial service was April 6 in Chester.
