I want to thank Mrs. Meadows, Gerry and Dale for all the nice photos, this is the only way I get to see everyone that was there. I am always gone the week they have the reunion. That is the week I visit my son in VA. So maybe one of these days I will make it to a reunion. THanks again everyone. Until then keep up the good work.

DITTO for me ... the photos are wonderful. I find myself going into withdrawal if I don't get a "Rainelle fix" at least once a week! Thanks, thanks to our great photographers ... Mrs. Meadows, Andy, Gerry and Dale!

Hello everyone. Thank you Andy, Pudge and Norma, for your nice comments! We are delighted that you are enjoying the photos.

Gerry and I decided we need to take a couple of shortcuts on the photos in order to finish them in a reasonable time. Seventeen pages have photos combined on the same page. However, we arranged them in a way that you can see them clearly. We also have a page that has golfing photos on it. If you would like one of the photos for your personal use, let us know. We can segregate it for you.

Check back. We still have a couple hundred photos remaining.

We hope you enjoy the additional photos: http://www.rainellereunion.com/photos.html#reunion_3 Dale

Hello everyone, Gerry Mitchell has scanned additional photos for the 3rd All-School Reunion section. He has amazing persistence - http://www.rainellereunion.com/photos.html#reunion_3

Gerry also took some excellent photos of vintage cars/vehicles at a fairground car show & send them for us to enjoy. '57 Chevy's, white sidewall tires, old bikes, old muscle cars, etc., are there to enjoy on the Photos and Memories pages - http://www.rainellereunion.com/photos.html#cars

I don't think I mentioned previously that Bobby Ayers sent some nice photos of towns surrounding Rainelle - see 8/24/06 http://www.rainellereunion.com/photos.html#surrounding

Gerry, a thank you seems inadequate for what you've done on this website, but again I say, thank you so much.

Bobby, thank you for the surrounding area pictures. I really enjoyed the photos!

Hello everyone. Gerry has scanned some more photos. These are reunion parade photos - some of the most enjoyable ones I have seen. They make me even more excited about the 2007 reunion. You'll see several antiques in the parade. You'll also see some old cars. I'm teasing. I'm old also. Everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time. This was a very impressive parade - well done Rangers!! We hope you enjoy them: http://www.rainellereunion.com/photos.html#parade

Please check back - more parade photos will be added over the next few days.

Hello everyone, we added 2 more Parade pages over the weekend - pages 4 and 5. I'm blown away with this impressive parade. It's big time. I was not able to be there, but am enjoying the photos. Dale http://www.rainellereunion.com/photos.html#parade

____

We have completed the parade photos. Gerry was very pleased with the quality of Mrs. Meadows' parade photos. Gerry did a great job scanning them. Gerry reports that he has about 200 regular reunion photos to scan and enchance, etc., and will do them over the next few weeks. I will post updates every few days to let you know how we are progressing. Dale

Hey Dale
Thanks for the photos, as I set here this morning looking at them it makes me long to come home. I had not seen the inside of the school
since I left there in 1972, its amazing how it hasn't changed.
The photos of the gym&stage reminds me of when I played Danial Boon
in the school play and my coon skin cap fell over my eyes and I about fell off. Ms Maynard had to run out and grab me. good times.
In the lunch room I can still smell the mac and cheese.I'd trade my jello for more. And now I trade almost anything for some of the that time back. Thanks for the memories.

JDavis: Your posts regarding the mac and cheese brings back memories of the scalloped potatos in our old lunch room back in the late 50's and 60's. Your coon skin cap must have been the star of that show. I remember the plays in the old gym and how much everyone looked forward to watching them. We grew up in a very precious time in life and were protected by the care and dedication of our teachers in Rainelle, WV.
