Jesse H. Nelson, III

BELLEVILLE, Mich.--Jesse H. Nelson III, 56, died Sunday, July 13, 2003.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Beverly Nelson, a daughter, Tonya Casteel and husband, Mike; a son, Shane Nelson; two brothers, Jeffrey L. Nelson and wife, Lynde, and Joseph A. Nelson; a granddaughter, Loretta Williams; two nephews, Jeffrey Jr. and Jeremy Nelson; three loving dogs, Luke, Lily and Taz.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse H. Nelson Jr. and Evelyn Goddard Nelson.
Mr. Nelson was employed with the Kmart Corp. for 21 years. He worked in the shipping department at the distribution center. Mr. Nelson's hobbies included fishing, woodworking, wildflowers, animals and car shows. He enjoyed NASCAR racing. He was a big Dale Earnhardt fan.

Service was Wednesday at Pawlus Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Belleville, with Pastor Dan Martin officiating. Visitation was Monday and Tuesday. Burial will take place at Hillside Cemetery, Belleville.
