Thank you!
This is for everyone who has made this website possible and for all who have contributed with comments.
It's been a while since I have written but I have thoughts of Rainelle very often.
I show this website to someone every few weeks. People are amazed at what is here and I hope we can continue to use it to share and keep the memories of our town, school, friends and families alive.
If anyone has any current information about the progress of the new Elementary School I would love to read it and if pictures are available that would be a treat.
I know it isn't the Jr. High and High School building we all loved but I sure hope we will still try to have reunions and use the new facility.
It will be nice to let our friendships include new memories of the growth in our town.
I'm very thankful they didn't choose a different site for the school.
That piece of land holds so many wonderful memories for each of us.
As we view the new school, I'm sure our minds and hearts will be filled with all of the special memories we already have and we can be proud that our future Rainelle friends and families have a new facility to make new memories and learn as they grow.
Thanks again to each of you.
Happy Thanksgiving.

Reunion in 2013 or 2014?....let us know if you're interested.

Donnie, I enjoyed your e-mail! I, too, have wonderful memories. I also often think about the wonderful Rainelle Reunions we have had. If I had to name the top 10 most enjoyable times I have had in my life, two of them would be the past two Rainelle Reunions. (I missed the first several.) It was so wonderful to see old friends and meet Rangers I had only seen, but hadn't known, plus many new ones. I laughed so much and hugged many people. I would absolutely love it if we had another reunion and would help in any way I could. Dale

I'm not sure how the progress of the new school is coming but does anyone feel that it would be nice to start looking at 2013 or 2014 for another reunion date?

On another note....there is a magazine called WV South published by the Register-Hearald that has wonderful articles about the region of WV we all know and love as home.

Several of the articles in past issues have been authored by Ed McCall and are wonderful.

In the February/March issue he has a hearfelt article about his first crush, Jean Carol Painter, which will take you back to a time of your own "lost innocence".

The magazine is well worth the price!
