Hello everyone, the reunion is upon us. I'm very excited about seeing everyone and getting back to Rainelle. I thought it might be fun to list links that some of the men might find helpful. I wlll stay away from suggestions for ladies. I learned that lesson once and well : Grecian Formula - http://www.grecian-formula.com (self-explanatory) Men's Zip 'n Trim Girdles - http://www.underworks.com/965.html Nose Hair Trimmer - http://www.shopinprivate.com/remwetdryrot.html Prune Juice - http://www.sunsweet.com/products/info.asp/product/prune_juice A course on how to remember people's names (and your own) - http://www.alchemy.name/html/recall_names.html
That ought to get us started. Other tips are welcome.
I enjoy the joke about the 70-year-old widower gentleman who came to his high school reunion with a young and attractive blonde. She hung on his arm and and on every word he said. His friends asked him how he got such an attractive, attentive young lady. He said, "I lied about my age." They said, "What did you say, that you were sixty." He said, "No, I said I was eighty."
Forget all of the above and bring yourself and your smile. We're going to have a great time in the ole town. Dale

Dale, your post is very funny and you have inspired me to think about what will be included in my reunion kit.
1. Tissues to be used when I laugh so hard that I cry. 2. Sunglasses to wear because my eyes are bloodshot from lack of sleep. 3. Tylenol to take for my headaches while trying to remember what it is that I am supposed to remember. 4. BenGay for my aching muscles if I should dance more than a couple times. 5. And my camera so that I can bring back visual memories of a wonderful time. |

USA Today has been running a series on "Caring For Elderly Parents". I put the link on our links page - http://www.rainellereunion.com/links.html I am passing the link on to my kids. I'm kidding. We're still young. Hopefully, it will be some help for those who have elderly parents.
The reunion is upon us. It is going to be so cool, hot, kickin', phat, or whatever the current terminology is. I am looking forward to George "Tink" Collins' (Class of '64) presentations on "Last of the Giants" (Meadow River Lumber Company) and his exhibit. I also look forward to the D.J., the Rainelle Park Board sponsored Rick K & the All-nighters singing and playing "real" music http://www.rickkandtheallnighters.com , the parade, the pig roast and the other very nice functions our hard-working reunion committee has set up. Mostly, however, I look forward to "chillin'" with old friends and meeting others I had not met in the past. Several of us will join Mrs. Meadows in taking tons of photos for her collections and for the Website. We'll see you in a couple days!!! Dale
