Lillian Marie Gentil Franklin, 61 of Rainelle, passed awayWednesday, May 5, 2010, at Allegheny Regional Hospitsal in Low Moor, Va., after a long illness. Born July 28, 1948, in Rainelle, she was the daughter of Yolanda Marie Maillo Gentile of Rainelle and the late Larry James Gentile. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a homemaker. In addition to her father, Lillian was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Gentile. Survivors include her husband Roger Lee Franklin of Rainelle; mother, Yolanda Gentile of Rainelle; two sons, Chad Franklin and wife Amanda of Rainelle and Todd Franklin and wife, Diana, of Mullins; four grandchildren, Justin and Candace Miller, both of Mullens, and Chase and Trey Franklin both of Rainelle. Funeral services will be at 2pm, Tuesday May 11, 2010 at the Wallace & Wallace Chapel in Rainelle with Father Joshus Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at The End of the Trail Cemetery in Clintonville. Friends may call from 12 to 2, before the service. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
